The lawn isn’t looking so good now. Lots of dead grass.
After hard pruning one of our escalonias in April, the plant has made a good comeback. First signs of growth were in June, and now it is putting out lots of good shoots.
These were grown from seed, and planted out into a small new bed in front of the new lawn.
Moving some wood, we found this guy.
We’ve planted a new bed to the side of the lawn. It has:-
- Lobelia ‘Crystal Palace’ (bought from M&S)
- Lavender ‘Munstead’ (grown from seed last year)
- Rosemary (grown from seed last year)
The whitebeams seem to be doing rather well.
The fruit trees seem to be doing OK, though no sign of any fruit this year.
